Board of Trustees Election
There will be two positions open for the Wolf Point School District Board of Trustees this year.
District 1 needs one (1) trustee for a three-year term and District 5 needs one (1) trustee for a three-year term.
Maps of the districts are available on the school website at www.wolfpointschools.org.
District 1: Liara Braaten was elected for a one-year term that is set to expire in May of 2026. This position will be open for election of a trustee for a three-year term. Liara is eligible to file as an incumbent candidate.
District 5: Trenton Wemmer was elected for a three-year term that is set to expire in May of 2026 and this position will be open for election of a trustee for a three-year term. Trenton is eligible to file as an incumbent candidate.
The annual school election will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2026, by mail ballot.
The Trustee Declaration form is located on the Wolf Point Schools website at www.wolfpointschools.org by going to Wolf Point School District page, Our District, School Board Information and is also available at the School District Administration Office located at 220 4th Ave S., Wolf Point, MT 59201. Completed forms can be filed with the District Business Manager/Election Administrator at the Wolf Point School District Office, 220 4th Ave S., Wolf Point, MT. Forms must be filed prior to 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2026.
Ballots will be mailed Monday, April 20th, 2026, by the Wolf Point School District.
Voted ballots can be mailed back or dropped off at the Wolf Point School District Office, 220 4th Ave S., Wolf Point, MT 59201. Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day - Tuesday, May 5th, 2026.
