Opt-Out Students

Parameters for Success

  • Spend a minimum of one (1) hour per day on each assigned class
  • HS Students: See Progress Marks and Dates below
  • Credits will be awarded based on course completion and grades earned on assignments (Both are tracked by the Acellus Program)

 Opt-Out Student Athletes:

  • Your eligibility for athletics will be based on grades and progression through the assigned courses. 
    • For example; Qtr 3 Week 3 Progress Mark: 15-17% Progress and Passing grades
  •  Resources for Parents of Opt-Out: 
  • Parents have the ability to monitor their students’ progress, grades, and time worked in Acellus.  Contact Kim Hanks to be setup in the Acellus system – email is the only thing needed!
  • Wolf Point Jr/St High School will monitor Opt-Out Students’ at each Progress Mark period. 
  • Chromebooks are available from the Jr/Sr High School for a rental fee of $30
  • If internet service is needed, service is available from Nemont in partnership with the Wolf Point School District.  Please see flyer posted on district website.

 

 High School Students Progress Targets

 Qtr 3 Progress Mark 3 – February 8, 2021:

  • 15-17% Progress toward class completion and Passing Grades

Qtr 3 Progress Mark 6 – March 1, 2021:

  •  32-34% Progress toward class completion and Passing Grades

End of Q3 – March 25, 2021: 

  • 50% Progress toward class completion and Passing Grades


Qtr 4 Progress Mark 3 – April 19, 2021:

  • 65-67% Progress toward class completion and Passing Grades

 Qtr 4 Progress Mark 6 – May 10, 2021:

  • 82-84% Progress toward class completion and Passing Grades

 End of Q4/Semester 2 – June 3, 2021:

  • 100% Progress toward class completion and Passing Grades
